Everybody Hurts by REM. It came on the radio in the taxi my ex was in when she was coming back from the hospital where her grandad had just died and she dissolved into tears. I met her two weeks later and she told me the story when it came on in a taxi we were in. It always makes me feel sad that I'd not met her a bit sooner, because I'd probably have been in the taxi first time around, rather than her be alone.
