(In memoriam Tribute) Will you add your (deceased musician’s) song to mine tonight? #021

Do you remember making mixed tapes? Starting this thread off with my song of the night of a musician whose life and death heavily influenced me. I was in High school during the grunge era and although I was heavily into Metal, I was also heavily influenced at the time by the Grunge band Nirvana and Kurt Cobain’s death happened just before I graduated high school. Please join me and add the YouTube video of your own song of a musician whose life and death influenced you and let's make music together. If you have the same musician as another just honor them with another song that you like. If you don't know how to make post video, no worries. Just post the song and artist and I will find and post your video if I am able. Any genre any era welcome (In memoriam Tribute) Here we go.

@Elandra77 Fantastic choices!
@SW-User Thanks. How I love old time soul music!!!

I wanted it to end as it began-and that was with brother Ray.

Glad you liked them.

@Elandra77 fine seldections!!! Sam Cooke. Wow
@Elandra77 impeccable as always my dear friend. RIP to all.
@Ambroseguy80 Thank You . Sam has a sweet voice, it went down like sugar. His death was so tragic. But many on here are that as well.

I think Sam was the easiest of all the soul singers to sing along with.

But Otis defined soul and showmanship.
@ShadowedWhispers Indeed ,RIP. They were truly masters of their crafts.
