I always loved the story behind Sheriff's "When I'm With You"...as I recall the song was first released in the late 70s, barely cracking the top 100. Fast forward to 1990 or so. It gets slipped into a movie soundtrack by chance and suddenly everyone goes crazy for it. Hits no. 1 on the charts and sits there for like a month. I'm not even sure the band was still together when it happened.
