Rock music is virtually inexistent in my country

Yeah, I know back in the 70s and 80s, rock was the dominating genre of music in the West, but not in the East. Here is a compilation of the most popular and the most classic songs of the time. Hell we even dominated the music scene in some of our surrounding countries, such as China, Hong Kong, Singapore, so on and so forth.
well just a little sharing over here.

Yikes, music is corporate shit these days, we need another punk to fuck things up I only listen to indy, which is getting pussy too

@JimboSaturn Oh no, please. Not another punk. Anything but that. It was the one thing that spoiled the otherwise golden age of rock 'n' roll (roughly between 1954 and 1979). The last couple of years of that golden age would have been so much better without a bunch of spiky-haired tosspots yelling "Anarchy!" and vomiting all over the decent music of the time. As for indy, how the hell did that become part of the mainstream? I remember as recently as 1980 it was regarded as specialist music. WTF happened to the music scene then?

They were a necessary evil antedote to shite@NankerPhelge

@JimboSaturn Punk was the shite itself, the unnecessary evil. The antidote came slightly later, they called it the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Thank fuck that came along, it was the one thing that saved us all from total despair in the 80s.

@tupolevtu144 Yes, but that came out of a different trashcan. Some other asshole kicked that one over just as we were starting to clean up the mess punk made.
