Rock music is virtually inexistent in my country

Yeah, I know back in the 70s and 80s, rock was the dominating genre of music in the West, but not in the East. Here is a compilation of the most popular and the most classic songs of the time. Hell we even dominated the music scene in some of our surrounding countries, such as China, Hong Kong, Singapore, so on and so forth.

Deep Purple recorded their famous and successful live album in Japan. Six months later they released a song called "Woman From Tokyo". Prepare yourself for something totally excellent:

@tupolevtu144 I live in the UK. I've liked Deep Purple for 40 years and "Woman Form Tokyo" was one of their songs I had the good fortune to hear all those years ago when I was 15 years of age. :)
