My mother had me learn very early starting around 4th grade. She would have me practice constantly till I got pretty decent at it. I didn’t enjoy it a ton at first mainly due to the constant practice but now it’s something I enjoy a lot. The beautiful noises and sounds I can create I just love. It’s my last year of high school so last year I’ll get to play with the school orchestra. So I’m a bit sad about that but also excited 😊 Picture of mine.

I'm very sensitive to sound and to my ears, the violin and chello are the most beautiful sounds I've heard. I have a violin too that I need to fix so I can learn to play.:)
@Aki167 well, when I got the violin, I bought it brand new so being a very technical person I need to prep it so it will play. Meaning, I gotta rosin the bow just right, fix the pegs from slipping, and lay down new strings. It's kinda frustrating to get to that sweet spot of being able to play without it sounding like a scratchy chalk board or the pegs not holding the proper tune. But I will get there. :p
