Playing a friend's 2001 Les Paul Junior Guitar

I was in the hospital for a month in 2018 after surgery and hadn't played guitar for all that time. My friend loaned me his LP Junior so I could get back into shape. It's a gorgeous guitar. I offered to buy it from him many times, but he will not part with it. This kind of annoys me because he is a drummer and doesn't play guitar. But what are you going to do?

I'm one of those drummers who owns everything. What kind of amp are you playing through? Nice effects. I can't crank it up where I am but I hear delay and a little verb, maybe plate?
@uncalled4 I was using a Fender Mustang amp using the deluxe we were model.

I had a double cut special of similar vintage which I sold at some point. Of of those that got away from me.
Imagine this situation: your friend has people he jams with. And since a drum kit is not very portable, they usually jam at his place. And so it's nice for him to be able to loan a good guitar in just case one of his people has trouble with their own instrument.
Awesome playing.

A man just doesn't part with his Les Paul. I hope you find one you like.
@Musicman I have an Epiphone Junior now. I got it a few years ago with the Epiphone, inspired by Gibson.

@Leontheprofessional Can you post a picture of it? 🙂

Drummers always secretly want to be Lead Guitarists. 😂
