Similar thing happened to me in a pub. 2 ladies at the next table to me and my friend. One pointed at my beer and asked what I was drinking so I told her. She asked if I was anyone famous. I said no, why? She said I had a distinctive deep voice like the guy who does Hollywood film trailers. She said I should be earning money from my voice. But where do you start?

Not to rain on your parade, but the voiceover field is incredibly competitive(I know people who do it for a living). So if you make a run at it, be sure to be able to play the long game with it.
