As I grew up and then raised my daughters, Disney entertainment has always been a part of our lives. Not as much now as the children are adults and I do not have an avid interest, but I do enjoy a nice touching story. I hope Disney continues to be a part of the lives of people young and old alike.

I loved "Old Disney".....they brought so much joy to so many. Now.....not so much, not even a fig I suspect.
It's just one more nod in which another can agree to the fact that, very little last for forever. In the case of Disney....how sad.

No, it's become so overrated taking over everything.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@SW-User totally agree, and they have hardly any creativity for themselves. And after the way they handled the Star Wars sequel trilogy.... I don't know if I'll ever let that go
SW-User
@caPnAhab i totally agree.....

To hell with Disney
Lostpoet · M
I don't know how much hollywood is still apart of Disney
but the Harvey Weinstein characters have to go.

Disney should be about kids, for kids, and only kids.

No more Britany Spears or Macaulay Culkin stuff
Not blaming Britany or Macaulay they were just kids but Disney did a number on them.

If Disney were to collapse a ton of people would lose their jobs. It would be terrible.
Not really. But I don't think the company will just disappear. Get rid of the deviant executives running it, restructure and restore. There was a time when Disney was pro family and a good experience for children.
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
No. What important difference would it make to the world? Granted the employees would need to find other work but that is no different from any other company failing.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@ninalanyon yes, that would be the only downside I could draw
Thinkerbell · 41-45, F
I'd be out of a job if Disney collapses! 😲

eli1601 · 70-79, M
They have to wait until I ride in the teacups at Disneyland. I've been planning for 60 years.
TexChik · F
Nope . They need to go bankrupt, be sold, and resurrected as something other than a pedophile facilitator.
carpediem · 61-69, M
I think DeSantis is handling them perfectly. They bash him, he cuts them off at the knees.
Not as long as they hold off until The Owl House concludes.

@bijouxbroussard looks cute and interesting!! 😀
SusanInFlorida · 31-35, F
Their entire film library will be bought by the chinese, at bargain basement prices, and be "voiced over" to give praise to President Xi
Henal · 26-30, F
Disney was pretty much my entire childhood, so I don’t know. Maybe?
AbbeyRhode · F
I grew up on Disney, so it's very sad to see what it's become. But now that it is a haven for groomers and other perverts, the sooner it crashes and burns, the better.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@AbbeyRhode yeah, a sad state is has become. A far cry from the company Walt had founded
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
I would actually. Not only do a lot of people lose their livelihoods, but their theme parks are cool.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@basilfawlty89 fair point. I would hate to see people lose their livlihoods.
DDonde · 31-35, M
No, but I would wonder what would cause that to happen
FreestyleArt · 36-40, M
I don't care about Disney. I've never like them even before they become woke. In my childhood I hated Celebrities and Disney's Cartoons when I was a child.

I almost hated everything that doesn't meet my expectations how I see them. Illusion as Crap.

@Stereoguy neither am I.

But if I bought into the whole "woke" thing, I'd be pretty upset over the fact that they abandoned all that to reach a wider audience in China.

I'm also not a fan of Hypocrisy, and it shows Disney doesn't believe in anything except money.
