I remember reading the book as a kid. It's very good.

I watched that movie once as a kid and haven't forgiven it since.

The book won a Newberry Medal. I read the book first when I was in college. If you ever read the back of the book, where it gives you a brief summary to try to entice you to read it, yeah I don’t think there’s any way you can honestly convey what the story’s about without giving away the plot twist, even if you don’t say it explicitly. So I could see what was coming a mile away and I still almost cried. I still count it as one of my all-time favorites. Since I read the book first, maybe that explains why I just thought the movie was mediocre. Anna Sophia Robb was awfully cute though.

Also, I now work for a children’s book company, and I’ve considered naming my trivia team the “Terabithians” when we do trivia next year.

Never saw it but reading the story line it sounds like a heartbreaking experience for children and adults

We were made to watch it in grade school. Its the reason why people my age have such emotional issues.
