Do you have unresolved emotions?

I feel like I have so many "thoughts" all tangled and twisted and they're somewhat interfering with my ability to live happily, although I'm fully functional and have no problems attending to my regular daily responsibilities.

I think mainly from when I was a child. Ugh. My dad tried to kill us all once, i almost forgot this happened. Almost. Then it rears its ugly head.

@KuroNeko I'm not religious but this is one positive benefit of religion, I guess. It helps to speak your thoughts out in prayer. Maybe I should try that even if I don't really believe in it

@somedude15 There is a lot to be said for just sitting quietly with our thoughts and asking for what we want. Whether anyone is listening or not, we are listening to ourselves.
