Reports are the the USAF lost 6 aircraft over Iran today

F 15, F 16, KC 35, A 10 and two helicopters engaged in trying to rescue the pilot and weapons officer of the F 15. The pilot was rescued. The weapons officer is unaccounted for.

I heard one F15, and one A-10, one helicopter was hit but made it back to base

@fanuc2013 From reports I have seen the F 15 was destroyed over Iran. The helicopters were hit but made it back to Iraq. The A 10 is at the bottom of the Persian Gulf. The KC 135 squawked Emergency and landed in Israel. The F 16 disappeared over Saudi Arabia. Reports say that only the Weapons Officer in the F 15 is still missing although the fate of the pilot whose plane disappeared over Saudi Arabia is unknown.

@Roundandroundwego Just listening to another report saying that 2 A 10s were shot down. One crashed inside Iran and the other into the Persian Gulf.
