Collective Punishment

The US approved the Netanyahu plan to turn Southern Beirut into Khan Younis.

This is collective punishment of the civilian population and it's unnecessary, because the former has already rejected Hezballah operatives and the Lebanese government declared Hezballah an illegal military operation and Iranian operatives are to be apprehended anywhere they are.

So why now? Possibly because Netanyahu needs to justify grabbing a piece of Lebanon, the entire piece that's South of the Litani river.

It's that spelling issue. Someone said "peace" and they got "piece"

For those unfamiliar with history, the Israeli "security zone," South of the Litani River, is what birthed Hizballah and the Iranian takeover of Lebanpn's Shiia population, spilling into Syria. But hey, all that business was settled 40 years ago.

But as long as our glorious leader, the Orange Oracle (but don't ask him to pronounce the name of the CEO of Oracle), there's nothing to worry about here.
