I found this on Facebook.

Many Christians are hoping that the third temple will soon be rebuilt. They think the war in Iran may provide a pretext for it to happen and they believe that the rebuilding the temple will hasten the return of Jesus. They are sadly led astray. Jesus said that His Body was the Third Temple John 2:19 and Peter expanded on that concept by saying that we Christians are living stones in that Third Temple. 1 Peter 2: 3-5.

But let's put the Bible aside for just a moment. According to the Roman historian Ammianus Marcellinus in 362 AD Roman Emperor Justin the Apostate decided to rebuild a temple for the Jews on the Temple Mount. He put a lot of money into the work but ran into a road block. A massive earthquake happened when the workers started to work and then there was some sort of great balls of fire that came up out of the ground killing and maiming so many of the workers no one would even try to build said temple.

In a strange twist of fate Justin the Apostate gave up on the effort to paganize Rome and went to war instead. In that fateful battle Justin the Apostate was killed. Where was the war that Justin died in you ask. He died fighting in Iranians in Iran. Will history repeat itself? Those who don't know their history may be taken by surprise.
