Hundreds of Jews and Israeli-Americans from the Silicon Valley area rallied Saturday for the release of hostages, an end to the war, and increased humanitarian aid to Gaza. The demonstration was held in solidarity with protests that took place in Israel on Sunday.
"Netanyahu's abandonment of the hostages, of our fellow Israelis, our fellow Jews, will never be forgotten," said Ofir Gutelzon, founder of the UnXeptable movement, a group of Israeli expats in support of Israeli democracy. "That is why we stand in solidarity with the families, reservists, and the majority of Israelis demanding their safe return."
California state Sen. Scott Wiener also spoke, saying, "So many Jews, Muslims, Palestinians, Israelis want to live in peace with one another, want to live in peace and harmony. And we have a situation where the extremes are driving what's happening."
Netanyahu Smeared Protesters as Hamas Sympathizers. I'm sure the SW AIPAC crew will do their part as well.
