So What's New In The Middle East?

And what's holding up that Nobel?

Trump has now decided that the hostages are not going to be out through negotiations, so he's coming up with another solution.

And looks like that strapping handsome, tough guy, in Damascus, got himself into a massacre in Syria, targeting religious minorities.

In the meanwhile, and reminder: this is 2025, children are dying of starvation in Gaza.

It's shameful. When they gave Obama the prize, it was clearly political, but if they ever give it to Trump it will be simply craven.

@bijouxbroussard Oh, yes. I entirely agree. I think Obama was somewhat embarrassed by it, but he took it with good grace and didn't make a big thing about it. whereas the current incumbent is just a grasper of adulation of any kind.

@FreddieUK It wasn't about politics, it's about hope. Clearly the Nobel Committee doesn't really know how racist we are.

@FreddieUK The recipient of a Nobel has no option to "return it", or give it to someone else. The committee's decision is final.
