@Pisciatto1 Those won't happen but hitting nuclear-materials plants could well release radioactive materials, though the type and power of the radiation will vary considerably.

@ArishMell true, but there may be nothing stopping some terrorists from taking a nuke to anywhere there and detonating it.

@Pisciatto1 Firstly there would have to be nuclear weapons available for them to take (they would not be able to make them as they can improvise HE bombs), and even assuming they knew how to operate them, some way to use it. Nuclear fission bombs are quite complicated as killing-machines go; fusion weapons even more so.
