Just remembered back on EP when PiercingMeTogether, Sam1992 and another M included me in an Arab association group
Fully knowing I wasn't arab.
They accepted me whether I liked it or not. They were like "so your name starts with M like us and you speak some Egyptian arabic and now we all are friends and this is our arab association "
I was recruited without applying D:
But honestly, it just shows arab hospitality in general. We have HUGE political and ideological differences yet they would still embrace me.
Of course, this doesn't apply to everyone. And we did have problems later 🙃.. But you know, I do have fond and plenty of innocent memories of those days : )
