The solution is a single state.
With the change in administration will Israel declare sovereignty over all of eastern Israel and Gaza?
Doing so permanently ends any possibility of a state of Palestine, given the selections of the Ambassador to the UN and the Ambassador to Israel as well as the selection of the Secretary of State, this administration's policy is unmistakably clear in support of a single state solution..
What will happen to the resident non-citizen Arab population? They will be "encouraged" to emigrate to the other lands administered by Arabs or Muslims.
The pronouncements supporting these events are well established on record from the parties involved..
Will the UN pass resolutions against these events? Yes.. but the USA has veto power over any resolution formulated or put forth and thus the UN is fully neutralized..
What could stop such a series of events?
Nothing..

What do I feel the odds of this occurring inside the next twelve months? I believe this is a virtual certainty ...
Will the Palestinians be upset? Yes but this for them is hardly anything new and by now and by their inability to get along and compromise.. is a small price to pay for the resultant peace of them not being there to cause any trouble, any more, ever...
