The Greek Tragedy of Today
Life today is playing out like a Greek tragedy. No sooner than our lives are given a ray of hope it is quickly diminished by whatever life throughs at us. The secret to living today is resilience. One can relate to that old Frank Sinatra song "That's Life" In true to form when we get knocked down "we pick ourselves up and get right back in the race Thats' Life"
The resilience of the human spirit has managed to persevere when all looks hopeless. In our darkest hours mankind has managed to survive. Yet we are continuing assaulting our very own destiny and existence. This by the countless wars and our refusal to enact the technologies and reforms that would bring balance to nature, societies and our environment.
In the aftermath of deadly catastrophic hurricanes that have laid waste to so many the resiliency of the human spirit is tested once again. For mankind to fulfill their ultimate destiny depends on the paths we take today. All too often though humanity continues to be held hostage by disingenuous policies enacted by governments. It is governments that has kept testing our will to survive and derailing our future and our ultimate destiny.
We had better recognize what mankind is doing to humanity. For if we fail and continue on this path of denial, apathy, and ignorance as we have been doing for so long mankind will never fulfill what millions the world can only dream about. A world where peace, prosperity, and health reign supreme. A world where humanity i s free from want and free from fear. That is our ultimate destiny.
