@Carazaa What you say is true about valuing education.. in addition to secular education, children are given religious education and Hebrew language as well.. I sent my children to private Jewish day schools from nursery to the end of high school and yes then to university.. (a very costly undertaking but my obligation as their Father) and they are successful.. Yes G-d blessed Jews as people chosen to serve him and he has given them his law to live and to set an example to the world with.. But what I speak of is a factual truth of intellectual capacity.. capacity is analogous to the size of a bucket.. Some peoples buckets are smaller, some are larger and you can NOT change the size of the bucket with education - Education fills your bucket, it does not make it larger.. I never (EVER) speak of this - but people figure it out the first time they watch or listen to me, it is impossible to hide, trust me I see the result on peoples faces when they realize it and it happens every single day and they discuss it among themselves when I am not there, I get phone calls on a regular basis from people trying to figure out the answer to a problem and the fastest way they have to figure this out is to call me and ask me the question, they often get several options as most problems have multiple solutions, to me a problem is simply a puzzle and I am brutally adept at solving puzzles (it happens to be fun to do so)..... Jews on average have large buckets but where it gets really interesting is the right hand side of the distribution curve.. where the biggest buckets are.. the Einstein level buckets and Jews are represented here disproportionately..wildly disproportionately..... and these people rise like cream to the top of any field they engage in.. I sought an explanation / understanding for empirical facts.. There indeed is jealously and in many cases outright hatred for those who have the ability to accomplish things to a high level - a DIVINE level... and I chose this phrase specifically to make the point..... Arabs see Jews take the re-established state of Israel from zero to a first world highly successful nation in 76 years... while they stumble and have very slow levels of progress....it's NOT their fault....no one can make the bucket larger..... People with an average IQ of 82 can NOT accomplish what people with an average IQ of 115 can accomplish and certainly NOT in the same time frame even working in coordination........ Are the Arabs jealous of this? Do some have hatred in them for their frustration and inability to get things done when they see the results in Israel? Do they view these G-d given gifts as inequitable? There is no fairness in G-d's blessings.. he has given Jews a JOB to do, a mission to accomplish - to spread LIGHT unto darkness the divine gift of creation - the literal gift of creation and creation - comes from the mind and is where the facts of education come from.. Einstein observed and taught us that imagination is more important than knowledge is.. Imagination is the creative source.. Education is the study of what exists.. imagination is what unlocks the secrets that become knowledge.. Why has G-d granted this divine gift of creation - to SERVE HIS purposes... to heal a broken world to spread light where there is darkness... The bible starts with Genesis - creation...Creation is a living thing... is it miraculous? Indeed it is.. I see miracles happen every single day - and I respond B'H" - Baruch Hashem...blessed is the name... It becomes MORE than faith.. it becomes observable FACT...and we give thanks to HE who granted us these gifts....

Do I view an understanding of why things are ... as they are as being important? I clearly do.. some people can explain things in a long complex treatise... Others can make the points in a few sentences or paragraphs... like I just did... get to the point, make the point... and be efficient about it please because time is the most precious gift of all so please don't waste it..

Who well knew about this? Winston Churchill knew about it over a hundred years ago and wrote about it ... and acted on it when decisions were made about the creation of the Jewish state in what was then the British mandate in Palestine..

@Carazaa Andy Warhol the artist created a series of prints called the Ten Jews.. Ten who he felt were extraordinary examples.. Gershwin, Gold Meir, .... and yes Einstein.. I walked into my Sister and Brother in Laws home on the upper east side of Manhattan and they had purchased this series of prints despite her not liking Warhol's work.. they felt it critically important that their three children being raised in VERY privileged surroundings should have these accomplished people surround them in their family room so they best KNOW that great things are expected of them... so my Brother in law had nine of these on one wall and Einsteins' portrait over the fireplace.. because he was Einstein... so I asked him what the most important thing that Einstein taught us was? Not a fair question (I gave you the answer above) He stumbled because it is not a fair question... I answered that he taught us that imagination is more important than knowledge. Yes, Jews are intelligent. However, early education, good nutrition, less diseases and traumas all contribute to kids IQ. Children who eat fish weekly for instance have higher IQ's.
IQ is an interesting thing, for one, it is good test taking skills. In some populations IQ tests are not valid, because the tests are culturally biased. Many people are smart in other ways, musically, artistically, analytically, etc., like you have mentioned.
But just because someone is gifted does not mean they will be successful. Success has to do with what we do with our gifts, like perseverance, and resilience. God says that wisdom is a good thing to ask him for. No matter how intelligent and resilient we are, it is worth nothing to God if we don't have love, and not just love of friends, but love for our enemies. Jesus tells us
"Love your enemies and pray for those who despitefully use you and persecute you. For such is the kingdom of heaven"

@Carazaa I have read of the claims of cultural bias in IQ testing and frankly this argument is not relevant to the result.. I am not speaking of the tests or the scores in isolation other than to use them to explain the result... I am speaking of empirically proven performance.. and the most touted example are Nobel Prize statistics where ONE THIRD of all prizes across ALL fields of human endeavour have been awarded to Jews. Yes we must USE the gifts we are given to the maximal extent possible or they have been wasted.. On the surface unexplainable and astounding given the population.. Those prizes represent an absolute measure of contributions to the betterment of mankind.. G-d's gift to the Jews, is also clearly G-d's gift to the world. Muslims despite their vast numbers do not REMOTELY contribute betterment to themselves and not to the world either and this is not new, it has been the case for ages...... You express the Christian adage to love our enemy... Jews KNOW that we can only make peace with our enemies as we already have peace with our friends but ...you MUST understand that this and the prayer for enemies is not absolute but that it has limitations - a recent example being the elimination of Sinwar... When you desire peace with your enemy but your enemy is sworn to your destruction - the bible specifically teaches us to get up early and to kill them first..The bible teaches of Amelek and that in every generation there will be those who rise up to destroy us... There was NO alternative but to kill him, not to love him or to pray for him. It was a Jew who put a bullet in his head and it was sadly a necessity to do so.. The same way David smote Goliath..

@pdqsailor1 Yes war is another thing entirely. However, we were discussing IQ scores, and regarding IQ scores, it is very relevant to mention that the highest virtue is not high IQ, but love. because without love our IQ is irrelevant.

@Carazaa In our daily prayers.. it is incumbent upon us to love our fellow man as we love ourselves.. The sages tell us that this is the law and all else ... is simply commentary. Those that contribute towards the betterment of mankind by virtue of G-d's gift to them.. are expressing love to others by sharing their gift...
