The scary thing is if the Gaza conflict draws in Turkey and Egypt, then the whole region starts doing pre-emptive strikes.

Won't happen exactly that way. Yet something similar can and already has happened over the 3,000 years many times over.

Wars are frequently fought by proxy. What's astounding is why Russia got directly involved in Ukraine. They could have used their Wagner group as a proxy. It's known to be a proxy throughout central Africa.

If Israel suddenly ceased to exist I wonder what the world's reaction would be? I kinda suspect it would be relief. It just doesn't sound like it's ever going to work out. Not there anyway.

@Tastyfrzz they would fight amongst themselves.

The PLF was and still is a off shoot of the PLO that fought against each other. Same with the Taliban and ISIS. Egypt had a problem once with the Taliban as well. Hezbollah really doesn't support Lebanon either. They tolerate each other. Kurds and the Turks. And so forth.

It's a religious war forever! The hydra, left to itself, will kill the other heads.

Israel is just a distraction. A foreign body that is in the way of their internal fight. A means of getting bigger, with more heads after one gets cut off.

@DeWayfarer who would want to live there?

@Tastyfrzz millions are trying to escape... most of Afghanistan as a example.

The punishment for leaving Islam is death by the Taliban. Think it's the same in Iran (aka ISIS).
Let's hope that doesn't happen 🤞
