With a lot of topics coming up lately like civil marriage or pride month in the middle east
I've noticed that Arabs are very selective to what cultural rules they choose to adhere to.
They love eating doughnuts and kfc, wear jeans, teach English at their schools, play English songs at their weddings, own iphones, call each other man or bro, throw beach parties...
But a secular state, lgbt, civil marriage are a big no馃槄
I just hope one day i don't wake up cursing my life for being born in the middle east
