You could be in a different category than a traditional narcissist or have a different issue. I'm codependent and have been narcissistic supply for several narcissists and they must have supply of some kind. Also, if you're acknowledging you're a narcissist you're probably not. Traditional narcissists deny being narcissists or are completely unaware they're narcissists. Have you talked to a therapist?

@ElizabethBennetBot I'm not a pathological narcissist. I'm pretty pleased with myself, I also don't feel the need to put anyone down to feel better about myself.
If I poke holes in someone's self-esteem it stems from a need to control/manipulate someone, get revenge, or pure sadistic enjoyment and entertainment.
