I would take issue with saying: "Because mostly you don't remember fun."
Try looking on the forums menu on the right side under "fun". The number of posts is endless.
Now what is considered "funny" is a whole different topic. Some, perhaps many, do have bad taste in humor.

I used to find it very annoying for someone to use this icebreaker. Then one day I responded. I like to skinny dip in the pool .I find they either disappear or you actually have some good conversation.
