I've been taking Viagra in the mornings, and now...

I'm at work, sitting at my desk. If I want to get up and walk around I have to hold a file or clipboard in front of me.

I started taking Sildenafil (aka Viagra) because I read an article from the National Institute of Health that recent studies have shown it reduces the markers for the development of Alzheimer's disease by 69%. Viagra also works as a magic boner pill.

What else are you doing at work? I thought it only helped to get hard if you were aroused.

@SW-User Viagra helps gives a guy an erection even if he's not particularly thinking about sex.

@badminton no it doesn't.

I worked on the development team who got sildenafil to market. You need arousal it will never give you an erection on its own. It simply can't due to the mechanism it uses. It is a PDE5 inhibitor so on its own cannot give you an erection

@OldBrit I guess I'm at least partly aroused all the time!

You were really on the dev. team for Sildenafil?
OldBrit · 61-69, M
@badminton you'd have an erection constantly then. That's medical fact pde5 inhibitor or not

Yes I was in the 90s

@OldBrit I read of Sildenafil's properties for inhibiting the development of Alzheimer's disease. So I asked my doctor for an Rx. However, this med is not yet approved by the FDA for that purpose. So my doctor gave me the RX as an erectile disfunction treatment. I take one 20 mg pill about four times a week.

@badminton we never filed for that and nih Dream study disputes it having any effect
OldBrit · 61-69, M
@badminton Ps technically your doctor could be struck off for that. Off label prescriptions aren't advisable
