Men's electric razors question

OK, I've been shaving with a razor all my life and get tired of it.
My question is: What electric razors are out there that someone has had great success with?
Which one do you think really works?

hair clippers, Braun cordless (no annoying cord, easy to clean and sharpen)

beard trimmer, Remington cordless with vacuum (I've went through dozens of beard trimmers, this is the only one that's held up for several years now, and the vacuum actually works well)

for complete/close shaves, straight razor & safety razor (a good quality one, preferably German steel, not some pos made out of chinesium) still reign king
