I don't dispute that at all.
I just feel th concept of the meme is becoming overused and not all of them are that good.

Plus it takes a little skill to use them in just the right place, at just the right time.
They are like the classic one liner - used well, they can be funny as all fuck.

I think what gets to me about them is :
With this screwed up broken feed, a meme shows up on another platform, so people grab it and share it here, and then you get an influx of the same meme.
And if it's an initiator of a post, (as often as not), it just becomes tedious after the first one.

It's not used creatively - and THATS my bugbear.
It's the same with tiktoks.
Regurgitated novelty is only interesting when it's [i]novel[/i].

There have been times when Ive seen the same meme posted three or four times in the same week from different users - and it has tuned me off them.

I just feel some people are losing the ability to be original🤷
(This isn't a 'point fingers' at anyone - it's just an overall observation of the way platforms like this are being used). It's the same with those damn Nuomi rabbit gifs...ugh,🙄

The day my written expression is dictated by trend is the day I declare myself officially creatively dead 😭😂
