Have anyone ever called you stupid, then asked for a favor?
This is NOT a political post. It's a are you kidding me right now? Post.
So Steve Bsnnon, he used to be the number one guy on Strategy for the White House, but now he's like a podcaster or commentator or something.
Now, this not a new thing he's saying, but with the midterms coming it kinda has taken a new, I guess urgency.
He said that in order to fight the left surge, during this mid terms, the GOP is going to need a MASSIVE TURN OUT of the LOW INFORMATION Voters.
When I read that I was like.. what?? It can't be what I think it is..LOW INFORMATION Voters??
Is he calling us Stoopid to our face, but in a nice way?I better go do some research.
So I did.
Turns out that a LOW INFORMATION voter is someone who...
- doesn't follow politics closely.
- does not watch debates
- does not read policy
- AND votes based on Adds, social media clips, memes, endorsements, and last minute news.
The parties zoom in on them because..
- they are easier to persuade: ads, viral clips and big events right before election can swing them.
- easier to convince: campaigns can sway them using simple slogans, memes and broad messages instead of detailed policy.
To be fair I will make two points...Low information doesn't mean not intelligent. Someone can be a doctor and still be LOW INFORMATION if the don't follow the news or do any research.
Also... This is a technique exploited by both parties.
Just happens That Bannon is Brazen enough to say it In the open for the GOP
How about that???
DISCLAIMER:
Those are the facts. There's nothing of my opinion here.
ALSO, my purpose with this post is to show what these people really think about us. Regardless of the party.
Don't come writing hurtful, insulting, or mocking comments towards anyone of any party. I'll just delete them.
