sometimes people are too fast to jump on the antidepressant train

They think they need it, or others think so for them, while in reality they just had a shit life that they are fully justified in feeling bad about.

I used to be extremely sad and angry with life, for years i had suicidal thoughts, but with lots of effort it got better little by little. My parents often said "you should take antidepressents" casually, cuz my entire family was on them. It's like a disease that is infecting our family rather than a medicine to be fair, who knows what it does to their brains.

I never tried them, got some temporary medicine that makes you sleepy instead to help me sleep a bit better or just calm down. I havent used those for a year now really, and during that time i had my master thesis and started my first ever job, so its likely im past needing them 🤔

Sometimes its not depression, your life's genuinely just shite. Wait for better times.
