I Have Been Taking Meriva Turmeric & Bromelain Supplements For Arthritis Since Visiting A Rheumatologist Two Weeks Ago…

Now my back doesn’t hurt in the evening after I get dinner cooked. I usually sit down because of it and when it eases up I go to sleep several hours and then wash the dishes. I have been able to do that without sitting down now.

Try RLT - Red Light Therapy if possible as well! 👍🏼

@Namor69 My insurance won’t pay for that.

@cherokeepatti you can purchase your own online [amazon]... small/medium one just for your lower back ,etc
It'll be worth it
Ofc full-body treatments would be ideal, but take what you can get! 😉👍

@Namor69 I mentioned the red light therapy to one of my oncologists in regard to some numbness in my feet due to taking a chemo drug. He said it was a waste of money. I think it’s getting better than before because I am taking B-complex vitamins and not having any sugar except for a little fruit. The nerve doctors told me that it can take a year to heal up (the nerve damage in my groin that affects my left leg) so I will wait and see about that.

@cherokeepatti well if you have the time and can find a deal then it wouldn't be a waste of money especially if it helps with those aches n pains! ~Be Well

"While oncologists are generally aware of RLT, there can be gaps in their understanding and readiness to fully integrate it into routine practice. RLT is a precision oncology approach that utilizes therapeutic radioactive isotopes conjugated with molecules that target cancer cells."

@Namor69 You bet there can be gaps in understanding. I believe my oncologists were well-intentioned and knowledgable but they had no education about alternatives and natural things like diets. I had enteritis really bad from colon cancer. It was draining most of the nutrients out of me and I wasn’t sleeping more than an hour at a time at night due to running to the bathroom. I wasn’t offered any remedies for it except to take pills and those OTC pills weren’t dealing with the inflammation. So I started reading (the best I could because I was very fatigued from the chemo) and found that blackberry leaf tea and marshmallow root would be helpful for inflammation and started using that. Also started eating Thai curries at least once a week, which seems counter-intuitive when you have enteritis. But they were all helping getting me straightened out. Then I stopped losing weight and gradually started gaining weight back. I told my oncologist that I felt like I was going to die before that, my nutrients were draining out of me & I was losing so much muscle mass it was scaring me.

@cherokeepatti Wow thats great... good for you!! ✊🏻 Yes they rarely are educated outside the box. They would have to be self-educated on 'alternative medicines' and/or get some some holistic education

@Namor69 My daughter had 3 autoimmune disorders as a young teen. I noticed a pattern of her suddenly craving certain healthy foods that she had never wanted before. So I would buy them and sometimes she’d have them every day or like salmon at least 3 times a week. Each new thing I would go read about till I found out the health benefits. Each of those things were helping her in specific ways to her disorders. Salmon, green tea, eggplant, curry spices in food, even blackberry leaf tea. I had bought a package of that tea because I found it on clearance and was wanting to get off caffeine drinks. I didn’t open it but she was having inflamed intestines at least once a month from the lupus. And it would be so severe that she would have to stay home from school at least 3 days before it healed enough where she could sit through her classes. It started up again and she stayed home. Called me up excited saying she had tried that tea and it was helping her bowels. I was thinking it would be too soon to tell and maybe she was just thinking it was helping. She called me two more times telling me after each time drinking the tea. By the next morning she went to school instead of staying home two more days. So I knew that it would be good for me. And the marshmallow root and also slippery elm bark is good for that and an inflamed bladder. I had used slippery elm bark for a sore throat in Lorenzo’s and it helped with my bladder when I was younger (I am sensitive to certain acids in some fruits and drinks).
