Oh, I had the Internet in 1994.
But...
There was nothing on it.
Nothing!
No images!
No videos!
No banners.
No ADS.
But also, Google didn't exist and we didn't have yahoo answers or Wikipedia, or any of that.

I initially disliked the Internet a lot.
But then, I discovered the ONLY not text thing I could find: thepalace. It was essentially an app that opened up a visual chat with people around the world who also had the Internet.
At first, your icon was a happy face.
And EVERY SINGLE PERSON was super nice and friendly.
After a few years things slowly changed and trolls were born. Interesting psychology on that, I'm sure.
I think thepalace still exists but it's pretty dead now, now that there's so much internets.
Also the family only had 30 hours of Internet usage available per month....
So between my brother and I, we counted a LOT of minutes to 'our turn'.
And it was dial up.

Yeah... That's a weird coincidence. :)
Every time I go to the site it looks different, but the palace chat itself is pretty much the same. Especially the mansion.
