Today I worked 6 hours [I Want To Be Better At Math]

I assembled 10 pieces in 3hrs 25min. Or 205 minutes.

10 pieces ÷ 205min = 0.0487804

Soo how many pieces did I do per hour?

If i would have done 10 pieces in 5 hours then the answer would be 2 pieces per hour because 10 ÷ 5hrs. = 2.

10 pieces ÷ 205min = 0.0487804 pieces per minute...

So in one hour you would have done 0.0487804 X 60 = 2.9268 pieces per hour

@gfantasy ahhhhh okay. I had to multiply the per minute count by 60 minutes. Thanks for the help.

@twiigss I find helpful when doing conversions to specify what the number represents... So I wouldn't write down just:

"10 pieces ÷ 205 min = 0.0487804"

0.0487804 what...?

0.0487804 pieces per minute

Then you realize... "Oh, it's per minute, so one hour would be 60 X that..."

Hope that helps :)

@gfantasy At the time of writing I wasn't being aware that the 0.0487804 answer was per minute. Then i saw your answer and made the connection.

I'm definitely not the best at math. Easy stuff like that is over my head. If it's whole numbers I'm dividing, adding etc. and what not, okay that's easy.
