I Want To Be Better At Math
I'm currently working on my Associates of Science degree, which will hopefully enable me to go to University to study Computer Science & Engineering. For a long while I have mostly taken all of my classes online because quite frankly, I do better on my own. Sadly though, I couldn't hack an online college algebra class. Now I am taking an in-class for the first time in a few years and I am frustrated!
My college used to have a great online tutoring program, hence the reason why I took math online. Now we have this 'NetTutor' thing and it's crap! I had to wait almost 2 hours for a tutor to help me, and when she did she didn't know how to solve the problem. WTF???! They are supposed to be trained professionals and yet they couldn't help me solve a college algebra problem??!
Now I am having to find a tutor outside of the school to help me because the tutoring currently sucks in general. They lack funding for 'TutorTrac', which was the previous and better program to build a stupid "Student Central" because they think it's easier to process paperwork and what not. What a load of shit! It's worse than it was before. UGH!!!!
Anyways, despite all the obstacles I've had to face these past two weeks, I am confident that I will do well in this math class and will finally be able to take pre-caculus next semester.
