Ok, u math geniuses...

Here we go...

In a three digit number, the third digit is four times the first, and the second digit is one less than the third. Plus, if u add them all up, the sum is greater than ten.

What's the number?

n a three digit number, the third digit is four times the first, and the second digit is one less than the third. Plus, if u add them all up, the sum is greater than ten.

What's the number?

Let's say the first digit is x

The third digit is 4x (it's four times the first)
The second digit is (4x - 1) (one less than the third)
Since it's a three-digit number:

x must be greater than 0 and less than 10
4x must be less than 10 (since it's the third digit)

From 4x < 10, we know x must be less than 2.5
Since x must be a whole number and greater than 0,

x can only be 1 or 2

Let's try x = 1:

First digit = 1
Third digit = 4
Second digit = 3
Sum = 1 + 3 + 4 = 8
This sum is not greater than 10

Let's try x = 2:

First digit = 2
Third digit = 8
Second digit = 7
Sum = 2 + 7 + 8 = 17
This sum is greater than 10

Therefore, the number is 278.
