Does it really take a mathematician to conclude

that 'we're not as young as we used to be'??
I hate that phrase...

But note that it leaves open the direction. I'm quite definitely younger than I used to be!

@ninalanyon Love that!!

Some friends of mine, most of them of the Age of Wisdom and White Hair, were involved in a project that entailed a lot of heavy lifting.

One recounted to me this exchange from one such day:

"Oh, I can't lift the things I could when I was forty!"

"Nor me... but when we were forty we were saying we can't lift the things we could when we were twenty".

@ArishMell See? Now that sounds more logical 🙂

The older you get, the better you were.
It's true in an ongoing fashion! lol

Let’s see….

1+1 is 2
and 2+2 is 4
But I don’t see how I could be younger
Than I was the day before! 🤯

Oh, I just have to, it took a double Phd student in math to put my nephew, a philosophy student, in his place. I loved his gentle smirk when he said, Jack (invented name), we all know your love to argue.

Wait…. We’re not? Grrrrrr
Tumbleweed · F
@Kiesel Sshhhh... not everyone knows that
