The sky tastes like purple
Luke7322-25, M
@NativePortlander1970 Yes exactly, you understood it! The moon is out of cheese too.

@NativePortlander1970
The sky tastes like purple.
To a person with color/taste synesthesia, it would.

However, I'm a color/sound synesthete, so to me, music registers in my mind as an array of colors.

But they do... and they just love apples.

Which probably means that you are a unicorn too.

@Really Just crawl back under your stone.

@OliRos
Just crawl back under your stone.
By their words shall ye know them.
OliRos18-21, F
@Really Look to your own words, old man, before you cast aspersions.
Really80-89, M
@OliRos I'm genuinely sorry if you took my 'goring' comment seriously. It was intended in jest. (I'm not really a unicorn.) Perhaps if you were old enough you'd understand. 馃槃

Seriously; take a look inside your own psyche and see if you can understand (for yourself, not me) why you address me as 'old man.' What prejudices about age do you harbor, and where did they come from?

it would be possible to have a serious, civil, even friendly discussion about where we get these attitudes. 馃槼

Or maybe not? ....
OliRos18-21, F
@Really Thank you, your apology is accepted.

But do I really need to point out to you the depth of inappropriateness in such a sexually loaded comment from a, let us say, mature man to a young woman?

And just how much older would I have to be to "understand" that?

I addressed you as "old man" because that is how you present yourself. I did not address you as, or in any way imply that I was doing so, as "dirty old man", no matter how much your original question to me might have justified it.

It would appear that my prejudices about old age are matched by yours about youth.

@OliRos Good grief!
and Goodbye.

Assume unicorns do not exist, and then use that information to prove that you both like and dislike apples.

But do unicorns like apples?
Luke7322-25, M
@JoyfulSilence Actually it鈥檚 the other way around. I first assume that I like apples. Then I assume that I don鈥檛 like apples. From that can be concluded that unicorns exist.

And then it can also be concluded that they like apples (鈥nd also that they don鈥檛 like apples)

That's THREE statements, each possibly untrue.
Really80-89, M
@Luke73 Haha, you're a scream.

X equals minus B plus (or minus) the square root of: B squared minus Four times A times C, all over two times A. But you have to know what A. B & C are; and X is no unicorn anywsay. ....

@Really I鈥榤 still waiting for the proof. I鈥榲e already proven the statement, so either you find a flaw in my proof or you proof it otherwise. But I can鈥檛 see why repeating the quadratic formula is relevant in anyway. Or how that even proves anything.

And maybe a tip for next time. Don鈥檛 write formulas as words, it can be ambiguous.

@Sidewinder That's the irony, it is totally logical.
