Please help me with these Polynomial Identities and Proofs problems for my notes if you can

1. Use polynomial identities to prove that 63^2 = (60 + 3)^2

2. Use polynomial identities to prove that 99 = 100 - 1

Please show and explain all your steps. Thank you for your help.

polynomial identity 1
(x+y)^2= x^2+2xy+y^2
now if x=60 & y=3
Then (60+3)^2 =60^2+2*60*3+3^2
=3600+360+9= 3969
63^2=63×63=3969 so
(60+3)^2=63^2

I ain't doing your homework bro
Dude. I already have to teach my son math (my absolute least favorite subject) every day for homeschooling. Do your own homework.

Similarly polynomial identity 3
(x+y)*(x-y)=x^2-y^2
If x=10 & y=1
(10+1)×(10-1)=10^2-1^2
11×9=100-1
99=99

This is easy. You just have to concentrate on your class work.
