There's a lot of unnecessary slaughter around the world 🌎 and it should be proscribed in a benevolent society.

Well many cultures have Horse steak and not as much cow steak as Horse steak is far superior than beef steak.
The food chain varies from country to country and cultre to cultrue so why should we enforce our beleifes on another country when we wouldn"t want them to do it to us.
