@faith2hope4love Seems they are actually common, some in national parks even. Much for the same reasons as the Sable Island.
Do you/have you, ridden horseback? You should try it, given your passion and interest. Theres even places where you can volunteer your time to care and work with them.
@SethGreene531 I was surprised to learn they also roam free in areas of Alberta, Sask, and BC. Such beautiful animals deserve the right to be protected and cared for.
