Most of us aren't immune to the constant in your face adverts and magazines touting what the ideal look is....skinny - clear skin - young skin - large eyes - long lashes - pouty lips....
We have been shown over and over through television - magazines - people we know - music videos......
If you aren't blessed naturally with the perfect combination.....what's a girl to do....put on the heels - throw up the lunch - paint her face.....and hope that someone sees the real her. Ironic huh?

Sometimes we do it because WE like it too. For some of us - me included - it is sometimes an excercise in creativity - an extension of our personality.
Think of it like when people in a band wear makeup or something.
The trick is.....see the person.....if you like them....it shouldn't matter what they wear on their body or their face.....they should be liked with it on or with it off.
Just my thoughts.
