What is it with men always criticizing something about you

Most the time I just roll my eyes but ffs I really want to just say mf lets not even get started on the way you look. Maybe I just attract insecure idiots if this keeps happening.

I think that those comments come from different places, from a misguided notion that they're endearing to simple rudeness. Some guys do it as a mechanism for taking control, subtly knocking you to disable your confidence.
