@Vittoria definitely the jalapeños. They were the last thing I ate, possibly the salsa but I believe it was the peppers.

Everything they deep clean my office I suffer an allergic reaction to the chemicals and it can be quite frightening. When it first happened I didn't know what was going on. They called an ambulance and I was in hospital for 2 days. Like you I carry antihistamines with me everywhere now. Good you caught it in time.

Get yourself checked after a similar occurrence (it can go down and quickly come up again, swelling and all), and possibly avoid everything you were having until you can clear out with an allergy test what you can have and what you should keep avoiding. Anaphylaxis is no joke if it happens.

@deadgerbil not gonna lie I was very worried there. But I'm glad I was in a public place.
If I were at home I would have assumed I was being dramatic because I hardly go out side my regular shopping list.

I'm not great with spicy food as it is but I think whatever liquid they sit in. Either that or the salsa as it was slightly different to the regular stuff.
It's hard to tell, because unless you prepare the food you just don't know what's going into it.

Omg wow I am sorry to hear. It is horrible. Maybe let people you are with know where your spray is so they can give it to you or spray it next time. Poor thing.
