Who the heck still have this much of acnes on their 30's? I guess the sunscreen I bought doesn't suit me

No makeup today cuz I was in hurry making special brownies for my crush. Can't give him today tho because I'm too late.

For one, sunscreen is often very oily, so you need one that’s non-comedogenic

Those look like milia though?

@BalmyNites i have milia as well and now trying to get rid of it with aha/bha/pha peeling solutions. But those two or more on my forehead are really acnes. I popped them out the other night haha

@DeecemberGirl Any milia already there will have to be physically removed hun, as they will be very deep in the layers of skin & you must not pick or squeeze them

You’re doing fab by using the alph-hydroxy acids 🤗

Be careful when using any other skin products though, ie oil-based moisturisers, as they just create clogged pores & spots

@BalmyNites so you think the peeling solution would do, with the milia?

I already choose the very light moisturizer but when it comes to sunscreen it's very tricky, aye?
BalmyNites · F
@DeecemberGirl No, will only help stop new ones appearing

Milia are from a build-up of trapped keratin in the layers, so the acids you’re using will exfoliate & clear the skin but I think you’ll need to get any large, existing milia extracted by a clinician

Yes, look for what’s in the ingredients & avoid any names like oil, butter etc

@DeecemberGirl

I don’t know if you can get these exact products hun, but they’re light & oil-free

@BalmyNites are those alcohol free tho? Because my skin is sensitive when it comes to alcohol. Even when i drink it, i got like rash on my skin, let alone applying directly to my skin. XD

@BalmyNites my cousin said they burn her milia when she got it treated on beauty clinic..

@DeecemberGirl A qualified clinician would use a sharp instrument to remove the milia at root level, there should never be any ‘burning’

Unfortunately there are a lot of people trading in places such as hair salons etc who are simply not qualified, so you must be careful

Daily skincare routine is the best way forward though, to prevent/limit the amount of new blemishes & what you are using is the best 😊
