My boyfriend said I don't need a lot of makeup just lipstick only. Is this a good thing

As I have found out, it only matters what you think and makes you feel good.

I have told my gf so many times she is beautiful without makeup but it is how she feels.

So what do you think?

It’s only a good thing if he keeps his opinion to himself and realises you do not do things to please the male gaze.

No man should dictate what you wear or don’t wear. Dress for the girls and the gays only 😉

It's up to you not him what you wear, but I think he was paying you a compliment.

Many of the women I have known over many years, including girlfriends, wear little or no make-up and have looked good without - I would add I see women as people not just ornaments for the male gaze!

Well, he probably just wants you to hurry up and hop in the car. No, you can wear as much or as little makeup as you wish, dear.

I mean, it's nice that he thinks you're fine au naturel but it's not really his place to say.

Basically what counts is how you feel about it. A true compliment would’ve been that you don’t “need” make-up at all. But it’s your face.

I personally dont like women wearing make up, I just like seeing the natural beauty 😊
