Why celebrities from the 40s and 50s didn't need much makeup or plastic surgery to look good like the celebrities of today?

@VicSpanner Interesting. I still dont understand which ".....ist" you feel that word applies to. But I use it to mean brainless, self centered, hedonistic, uncaring and of no real value to the community. And thats a lot more than 5 keystrokes. So if its okay with you I will continue to use it.😷
