I Love To Hear The Words "I Love You"

WHAT HURTS THE MOST...
Have you ever thought about which hurts the most-saying something and wishing you hadn't or saying nothing and wishing you had? I think, for me, the most important things are the hardest things to say, like "I love you." I know that we all fear those words coming from our mouth for the first time only to be rejected, and even if they do accept you they could still break your heart. Have you thought about the other side? What if you never get the courage to utter those words, you just might break theirs. Our hearts decide who we will love and who we won't. Try as hard as we may we can't tell our heart what to do. It does it on its own-when you least suspect it, or even when you don't want it to. Have you ever loved someone with everything you had, but that other person was too afraid to let you? Too many of us stay walled up because we are too afraid to care too much or for fear that the other person does not care as much, or even at  all. Have you ever denied your feelings for someone because your fear of rejection was too hard to handle? One thing I have learned over the years is that life is all about risks and it requires you to  jump. Don't be a person who has to look back and wonder what they would have done, or could  have  had, or should have been. What would you do if the person you love the most died tomorrow and you never got to tell them how you felt? What would you do if you loved someone more than ever and you couldn't have them? What would you do if you never got the chance  to  say I love you? People live, but people die too. Never count on tomorrow happening; tell them you love them today.

The hardest is to be told you are loved when it's not meant

I agree wholeheartedly with that reply. Do you ever regret telling your special person that you loved them? I know that's personal and you don't have to reply. I think even if it ends badly it was worth it at the time.

@Fungirlmmm: no cause each time I said I love you it's cause I was in love, to me it was deep, felt and real.. I regret not being love in return though

@Chantou: Here is a different look at it... Maybe the person did care the only way they knew how but they just weren't capable of being as deep and sincere as you.

@Chantou: Only you would know. You made me laugh because I've never heard a Canadian say "naw," Are us Southern folks wearing off on you or do Canadians use that word too?
