Imaginary friends are there as long as you imagine them to be. Just don't confuse them with reality.
@suzie1960: 👍
Lack of evidence isn't evidence of nonexistence, although God left us plenty of evidence. People just don't want to see it. Let us see you produce conclusive and undeniable evidence for the non-existence of God. You cannot accomplish this, and therefore, all you can do is hope that you are correct. @suzie1960:

@GraceFromEP: Can you produce conclusive and undeniable evidence for the existence of your god? I don't need to prove it doesn't exist, that the default position. It is for you to show that it does. You say it left plenty of evidence so you should easily be able to produce it.

You must also believe in the existence of Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy and a myriard of other supernatural beings, unless, of course, you have "conclusive and undeniable evidence for the non-existence of" them.
@suzie1960: Ah, I see you have no answer, so you resort to this. To one who has faith, there is hope, and no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible.
Life continues to be one of the greatest miracles. It’s hard to deny God’s reality when you think about the process of birth – that two beings can come together and create life, a process that is complex from the moment of conception. While there are over seven billion people living in this world, no person has the same finger print. While identical twins share the same genetic components, they are unique individuals. God is a unique designer. Man nor the universe can make an eye, let alone cause it to see.

@GraceFromEP: I've answered your question but you refuse to acknowledge it. Now, can you answer mine and produce conclusive and undeniable evidence for the existence of your god? You can't can you?

What evidence is there that your god has anything to do with life? You might think it's a miracle but it's really just chemical reactions. No "god" is necessary to explain it but the Tooth Fairy might have had a hand in it.
No, you didn't. Chemical reactions. Okay. @suzie1960:

@GraceFromEP: I answered your question, it's right there for anyone to see but you don't want to see it.
In your first post, you said: "Imaginary friends are there as long as you imagine them to be. Just don't confuse them with reality.". Yet you talk to me about the Tooth Fairy? 🤔

@GraceFromEP: I'm merely pointing out that there is no "conclusive and undeniable evidence for the non-existence of" the Tooth Fairy/Easter Bunny/Santa Claus etc. You then use the argument that "lack of evidence isn't evidence of nonexistence". That same argument must apply to the beings I've listed.

I know the christian god is not real. If you believe it is real because there is no evidence it isn't, you should also believe that the Tooth Fairy etc. are real because there is no evidence they aren't.
@suzie1960: There is evidence all around you. You just don't want to see it. Look in the mirror. Who made you? Some "collision"? You know that is absurd. You're smarter than that. No amount of collision or chemical reaction of any sort can make a human being, with all the intricate parts and workings. If you don't want to believe in God then don't, that's up to you.
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@GraceFromEP: Don't patronise me. I'm smart enough to know the christian god isn't real.

There is no evidence that the universe, nor anything in it, was created by the christian god. It could equally have been created by the Flying Spaghetti Monster - it must exist as there is no conclusive and undeniable evidence that it doesn't.

Science might not have all the answers yet but it's starting to unravel the origins of the universe and its postulates are demonstrable.
@suzie1960: Just as I thought. It was you who were patronizing me with your ridiculous comparisons of chemicals coming together to make an eye or the intricacies of it, and if you're going to talk to me, do it with respect. I haven't called you names. The problem is, you have no answer for my last post, so you resort to weak accusations. Answer my last post. Where in the world did you come from, Suzie?
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@GraceFromEP: I wasn't patronizing you at all. You now call hard science, with its proven theories, "ridiculous" yet you claim to believe in some magical being that created everything out of nothing. Where did that being come from?

I came from the stars, just the same as the rest of us. That's science for you.

@suzie1960 you should read Lee Strobel books
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@SW-User I've wasted enough time reading his and other christians' bullshit propaganda already thank you. It's the same every time, they claim they have the evidence to support their hypotheses but they never produce it, all they do is spout more bullshit.
SW-User
Hmm doesn't sound like you've read it because he went to where Jesus lived and found plenty of historical evidence. Denying Jesus was a person is like denying Christopher Columbus was a person. History proves it
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@SW-User Who's talking about Jesus? I accept there were people by that name, there still are. The original post, to which my reply referred, was about the christian god - that is just imaginary.

Lee Strobel is just another propagandarist, he has no evidence to support the christian hypothesis that their god is real.
