I don't believe in soul mates. We have people in our lives some more close than others. Sould mates infers some kind of unattainable magic quality I don't like. I think people believing in a person that is perfect for you causes a lot of dissapointment and sadness.

yes, but i don't think its necessarily just one person, you can find it with plenty of people if you are open to it.

@CookieCrisp agreed completely.

@CookieCrisp I think we sometimes get "imprinted" by a parent or caregiver when we're young. Something unconscious deep inside decides "these traits are good," and then when we encounter the right combination of traits in someone our age later in life, the machinery of attraction starts turning.
Yeah, it's a very mechanistic soulless explanation, but at least it's grounded in behavioral science.

Nope. I plan to GIVE platonic love to others all the rest of my life, but there is no "soul mate" out there for me. Any man I choose will be an abuser. Unfortunately, that is my fatal flaw.

It’s out there for some, but me at 69 years old, I don’t think it’s in the cards for me unfortunately 😞

True love might be as rare as a dream career. Most people simply do what needs to be done and get on with life

My opinnion:
No.
Soulmate doesn't exist because Soul doesn't have bondage.
