@Stray4life Oh. That happened to me once when I was a teenager. In hindsight as an adult, I assumed all deep first loves are that way, and things get a little stabler once your brain starts carving habitual ruts to process that kind of information (plus relying less on the amygdala to process information as you get older helps diminish the intensity of such feelings).

But whatever explanation one might wish to conjure for it after the fact, there's no doubt I have experienced something matching your definition of "true love", so that's that. It was also more or less love at first sight, though.
